About You

Ideally you will have the following experience/attributes –
- Minimum 2 years preparing GST returns for a range of businesses (requirement)
- Be able to deliver GST Returns with efficiency and accuracy
- Current experience with accounting software packages
- A high level of initiative and ability to think outside the box – we are all about innovative solutions!
- Excellent time management skills, including proven ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Strong computer skills and ability to work in a paperless environment
- A growth mindset and level of self-awareness and empathy that enables you to work effectively with others
- You will also be a self-starter who can work with limited supervision and a straight talker who is open to sharing ideas and having some fun!
- Take pride in the delivery of GST Returns to our high standards
- Must have existing rights to work in New Zealand
Role Responsibilities
- Preparation of GST returns for a range of clients using a variety of software
- Subject to training, delivery of TriTec reports to our clients
- Assisting Compliance Administrator with client annual tax records
- Using a range of accounting software including Reckon, MYOB and Xero
- Contributing positively to the culture of Whutuporo and working with others toward team goals
- Building lasting relationships with clients
- Part time hours, will consider school hours for the ideal candidate
