Introducing Samantha Witt
Hello! I’m Samantha and most of you will have crossed paths with me, as I have been part of the Whutuporo family since November 2017. I started my journey here as an Accounting Assistant and have had the privilege of growing into the role of Tax Manager, supporting our wonderful clients along the way.
In 2024, I achieved a significant milestone by completing my Accounting Technician Qualification through Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand. I am extremely proud of this achievement, and it has deepened my passion for working closely with our clients, helping to simplify their accounting challenges and reduce stress wherever I can.
I grew up in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, made a pit stop in Auckland (don’t hold that against me!), and finally settled in Rolleston in 2016. Canterbury has truly captured my heart—its stunning scenery and vibrant community make it the perfect place to raise my family. Speaking of which, my daughter Paige, who is 13, just completed her first year of high school, and my son Benji, 9, is thriving in his own space now that he’s no longer in the same school as his sister.
At home, our lively household includes my partner Kane, our two mischievous dogs Thunder and Luna, and our poor tormented cat Lucy. As a family, we enjoy camping and 4WD adventures. Reefton holds a special place in our hearts and has become our go to destination over the last few summers.
When I manage to squeeze in some time for myself, you’ll likely find me doing my nails, reading a good book, or exploring my artistic side. Monday nights are reserved for Clubbercise—picture me on the dance floor with glow sticks in hand, having a blast!
Looking ahead, I’m excited about the opportunities and challenges 2025 will bring. Here’s to another great year with Whutuporo, our amazing clients, and my beautiful wee family.
