What You’ll Do
- Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, GST, and management reports.
- Meet with clients regularly to provide advisory insights and strategic business guidance.
- Lead and mentor our intermediate and graduate accountants, fostering growth and confidence.
- Support the firm’s expansion through business development and process improvement.
- Use and champion tools like Xero, FYI, FuseSign, and Office365 to drive efficiency.
- Model Whutupōro’s values - teamwork, innovation, respect, enjoyment, and straight talk - every day.
What You Bring
- CA qualification (or equivalent) and several years of public practice experience.
- A strong technical foundation in accounting, tax, and compliance.
- Commercial curiosity - you think beyond the numbers.
- A people-first approach with genuine interest in mentoring others.
- A drive to help clients and the firm grow through advisory work.
