Tax Return Reminder
At this time of the year the deadline for filing your tax return is fast approaching being 31st March 2022. Now if you do file your income tax return by that date Inland Revenue can a number of different steps but more common than not they will charge you a late filing penalty which could be up to $250. This is no point giving Inland Revenue more money than they deserve so we can this opportunity to remind you about your income tax return.
For those clients who have still not sent their information into us please do so ASAP. Inland Revenue may have already written to you already advising that they are still waiting for your tax return. Even if they haven't we need your information if we are to get your tax return finished before the deadline. If you need assistance with putting the information together, the checklist or have questions please do not hesitate to make an appointment with the team below.
For those clients who have already had their tax return completed but not yet signed them we ask that you sign your tax return ASAP. Our tax manager, Samantha Witt, is furiously chasing people and whilst some have actioned their signing others haven't. Remember for the 2020/21 financial year we cannot file your tax return until you have actually signed it. In most cases this can be done via our online portal. If you need assistance with our portal please contact our expert Fiona Liley ([email protected]) or alternatively make an appointment below with her.
